Create a poem, artwork, poster about one of the schools’ Key events e.g. commemoration, black history month, remembrance, culture day and many more to choose from.

Compassion

Help others for 6 hours.

This can be in small chunks of 10 minutes or larger slots of 30 minutes or an hour at a time.

OR

Plan a fund-raising event with others to raise the profile of the charity through posters/ assembly / social media and raise some money

OR

Complete the Volunteering section of Bronze DofE

Communication

Individually or as a form work together to produce and deliver an assembly or Voice Over PowerPoint (VOPP), or Interform speaking competition.

OR

Write an article for a newspaper about other events you are involved in at school.

OR

Write an article for the school website about your DofE or other school experiences

OR

Write five reviews about different books on Oliver the school library system

Curiosity

Create a starter for any lesson in school and present to your class

OR

Create a Google Slides presentation of books you would recommend to other KS3 pupils, share them with the librarian who will put them on the digital display boards.

OR

Collect your Local History Trail booklet from the LRC or from the History Department. Complete the tasks in the booklet whilst participating in the Local History Mystery Trail of Rickmansworth.

Task- Produce a short PowerPoint presentation (4 slides), outlining key locations on the trail and what you have learned. Once completed, notify your history teacher.

Complete the Skill section for Bronze DofE

Courage

Work with others on 12 occasions

OR

Completing your Expedition or 6 months for the Physical Section of your Bronze DofE

OR

Take part in a regular sports club (this can be inside or outside of school)

A minimum of 15 sessions of 1 hour (20 x 30 minute sessions)
